🔥 Celtic cannot cope with Borussia Dortmund after the defeat in the first half

German superstar Borussia Dortmund put in a brilliant performance against Celtic in the Champions League at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday.

Nuri Şahin, former Black and Yellows academy graduate and current head coach, led his team to an impressive 5-1 lead at half-time and stole the show from the hosts.

While summer signing Serhou Guirassy scored his fifth goal in his last four appearances for the Ruhr area, it was German international Karim Adeyemi who held the reins for Dortmund.

A brilliant first-half hat-trick (from just three shots on target) almost ensured Brendan Rodgers and co returned to Glasgow empty-handed.

Adeyemi is now the first German player since Mario Gomez in 2011 for Bayern Munich to score a hat-trick in the first half.

Unfortunately for the hosts, their star player had to leave the pitch after 50 minutes with an apparent hamstring injury. After their European appearance, Dortmund will be hoping it's nothing too serious.
