For Stephen Nedoroscik, the thrill of life is currently playing out on a completely different stage. After a historic Olympic run, the pommel horse specialist is in its 33rd season wooing fans Dancing with the stars. The gymnast's mother, Cheryl, claimed that Stephen Nedoroscik was never afraid to try something new. While fans continue to delight in Nedoroscik's groovy performances week after week, the former Nittany Lion makes sure he's familiar with the structure of DWTS, and the Olympics helped him ease into his new role without breaking a sweat to advise.

In a recent YouTube short with Joe Vulpis uploaded by Lightweight Podcast, Rylee Arnold's partner was heard talking about how his first appearance on the popular dance show made him realize that it wasn't much different than what he does every day. During the conversation, Vulpis asked if DWTS and the Olympics feel something similar from an artist's perspective. In response, Stephen Nedoroscik noted that the similarities surprised him too. “bBelieve it or not, I find great parallels between Dancing with the Stars and the Olympics or other gymnastics competitions,“, revealed the Olympic champion.

He went on to highlight the things that somehow made gymnastics and dance the same. “The thing about Dancing With The Stars is that you're in the spotlight, the cameras, the judges, and it's exactly the same as the Olympics. So it's a very familiar feeling when I go out and perform,“, he stated matter-of-factly. But the biggest difference that caught Stephen's eye was the difference in the size of the venue.

Gymnastics fans have been thrilled over the past five weeks to see their favorite star perform as gracefully on the dance floor as she does on the gymnastics apparatus. As Simone Biles leads the Gold Over America Tour across the country, bringing more attention to men's gymnastics, Stephen Nedoroscik is doing the same in his own way and his dance partner Rylee Arnold is watching head over heels as he popularizes the sport. “It's so amazing that Stephen represents the male gymnasts. Male gymnasts are very neglected and many people only focus on the female gymnasts.Arnold told Vulpis a few days ago.

Furthermore, the fact that Stephen has been able to achieve so much despite his eye condition hindering his pursuit of greatness also encourages young and aspiring dancers and gymnasts to keep their passion alive. “Some mothers have come forward about their sons. One of them had strabismus, that is, cross-eyes, and they thought he couldn't play sports. And he thought he couldn't play sports. But actually, after he saw me at the Olympics and on “Dancing With the Stars,” he started tackling like football,“Nedoroscik confessed to Extra TV.
