Adams went down after completing a 17-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers. He was pushed out of bounds at the Texans' 31-yard line and immediately attended to by trainers before slowly getting up.

Adams remained on the sideline for several minutes before entering the blue medical tent.

The Jets acquired Adams in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this month, and his six catches for 54 yards before his injury on Thursday night are the most he has made with the team since. He had just seven catches in his first two games as a Jet.

Rodgers played with Adams with the Packers from 2014 to 2021 and has said that Adams is his all-time favorite target. In the Adams-Rodgers duo's final four years in Green Bay, Adams averaged 14.5 touchdowns per season.
