Will Mariah Carey announce that “it’s time” on Drew Barrymore’s show?

As we all know, we can only start playing Christmas music Mariah Carey says it's okay. But now she has given a hint as to when that announcement might come.

In her Instagram story, Mariah posted photos of Drew Barrymore wanders the halls of her talk show in a Halloween outfit. She hears Mariah singing and we see a dressing room with Mariah's name on it. But then we see Mariah announce, “Not yet!”

In a video on her show's official Instagram page, Drew announces “Happy Hallow…” but is interrupted by the ringing of sleigh bells. We then see footage of staff from Drew's show listening to Mariah's singing, with one of them announcing, “She's here!”

It's all a preview of Thursday's show: We see a clip in which Drew introduces Mariah, who walks on stage in a red dress, accompanied by two shirtless, sporty guys in Santa hats, pants, boots and gloves. “All I Want For Christmas Is You” starts playing and we see a caption that reads: The Drew Barrymore Show presents a very happy Halloween.

In other Mariah Christmas news: the album that started it all – her 1994 release Merry Christmas – is being reissued as a hybrid SACD and a numbered UltraDisc One Step LP. Apparently, this is a technology that offers “unprecedented detail, depth and dimensionality.” These reissues include the bonus track “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and are scheduled for release on December 13th.
