Jets will not trade WR Garrett Wilson and CB DJ Reed

The Jets have received calls about starting receiver Garrett Wilson and No. 2 cornerback DJ Reed ahead of the 2024 NFL trade deadline, Russini reports. Jeff Ulbrich says Allen Lazard injury is 'really weird'

Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich spoke to reporters after New York's “Thursday Night Football” win over the Texans and said the team's No. 3 receiver, Allen Lazard, was dealing with a “really weird injury.” According to Ulbrich, it affects the wideout's sternum and the AC joint in his shoulder, and there is no timetable for his return.

Will the timing of Lazard's injury cause the Jets to keep Mike Williams? It's not guaranteed, but Lazard is on IR and will have to miss at least the next three games. Lazard cannot return until Week 14 at the earliest. Therefore, Williams may have a better chance of staying in New York than initially expected.
