Jaylen Brown, Al Horford and more

The Boston Celtics picked up a win against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night. The 124-109 win was marred by some questionable actions in the fourth quarter, including Grant Williams effectively tackling Jayson Tatum in the halfcourt. Regardless, Boston's win brought the season's mark to 5-1.

Both sides were missing some key pieces heading into the contest. Al Horford was sidelined for the Celtics, and Mark Williams and Brandon Miller were both sidelined for the Hornets. Meanwhile, Nick Richards, who started the contest, exited midway through the game, forcing Charlotte to be without its top two centers.

Here are the injury reports for the Celtics' second straight game against the Hornets on Saturday, November 2nd.

Kristaps Porzingis is still out as he continues to recover from offseason surgery to repair a foot injury suffered in the NBA Finals.

After missing the competition on Friday, Al Horford has been removed from the injury report for Saturday evening. Since re-joining the Celtics in 2021, he has missed at least one leg in a row.

Jaylen Brownhowever, there is a new addition to the injury report. He played Friday but will miss the second leg of the two-game series because of a left hip flexor strain.

And just like on Friday, Sam Hauser was listed as likely but will be available to play. He is still battling previous issues that surfaced over the summer.

Mark Williams, DaQuan JeffriesAnd Nick Richards are still out for this game. Williams and Jeffries have yet to appear in a game this season. Richards was eliminated midway through Friday's contest and will now miss the second leg.

Brandon Miller is available for the first time since Charlotte's season opener and Seth Curry is a new addition to Charlotte's injury report as he battles knee soreness. He'll miss the Saturday night affair.
