Fox News features Oprah Winfrey on Too Much

Donald Trump used one of the final media appearances of his presidential campaign on Tuesday morning to send an important message to the American people: Fox News is giving Oprah Winfrey too much airtime.

The Republican candidate spoke to reporters on Election Day as he and his wife Melania cast their votes at the Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach, Florida. Trump launched a tirade against Fox News after being asked about a comment from Winfrey. On Monday night at Kamala Harris' rally in Philadelphia, the TV mogul warned: “If we don't show up tomorrow, it's entirely possible we'll never have the opportunity to cast a vote again.”

“Well, I think it’s ridiculous,” Trump said of Winfrey’s comments. “Oprah, I was on her last show or one of her last shows and they picked the biggest people and all that and made a big deal. And actually I’m disappointed.”

“I think Oprah has become a major divisive person in our country and I think, quite frankly, she should be ashamed of herself,” he continued. “And you know who else should be ashamed? Fox. Because I've seen Oprah on Fox make the same statement about 50 times. And I think it's a shame what Fox is doing because everyone thinks Fox is so pro-Trump. They are not for Trump at all. You’ve been teasing Oprah all morning.”

He continued his tirade by saying he knew Winfrey well and mentioned the funeral of television executive Roger King, whom Trump described as “Oprah's mentor.”

“Oprah picked the location,” Trump said. “She said Mar-a-Lago was the most beautiful place. Would it be possible to hold Roger's funeral at Mar-a-Lago in the ballroom? We made it. The only time I ever had a funeral there. And I think Oprah should be ashamed for saying that. She should be ashamed of herself.”

Trump also claimed that Oprah once “wanted to run for vice president with me.” a letter she wrote to him in 2000 he concluded: “It's a shame we're not running for office. What a TEAM!”

“And now she’s making statements like that,” Trump said Tuesday morning. “She is a separator. And Barack Hussein Obama is also a divisive person.”
