According to leaks, Fortnite will be permanently switched to OG – SiegeGG

Do you still miss Fortnite OG? Then there is good news. According to very reliable leakers, Epic Games will make the OG Island a permanent mode in December.

According to HYPEX and Shiina, the two most prominent dataminers and leakers in the Fortnite community, Epic Games has a lot of content planned for fans of the original experience.

Making the original Fortnite map and its iconic POIs like Tilted Towers or Tomato Town permanently available is undeniably amazing. But as leaks suggest, the OG map will be constantly updated based on the 10 seasons it spans.

In case you don't know, the period known as Fortnite OG covers the game's early years, from 2017 to early 2020, when Chapter 2, Season 1 revolutionized the battle royale and introduced the current rhythm of content that Epic Games still uses.

OG is finally back!

Both Shiina and HYPEX state that seasons will be rolled out monthly. The mode will only feature the original loot pool to preserve the actual feel of the OG map. However, the mode will also include Zero Build, a non-construction format introduced in 2022.

The announcement is expected to be made at the 2024 edition of The Game Awards, which will be held on December 12. It could well be a shadow cast, which is now technically ruined by leaks.

In the meantime, Fortnite players are currently enjoying Chapter 2 Remix, a throwback to the massive 2019 update that completely changed the game.

If you want to join in the festivities, we recommend checking out how to get the Ice Spice skin once it's released. In addition, you can also get the Juice Wrld outfit for free, but only for a very limited time, a unique offer that you don't want to miss out on.
