Davante Adams Trade Rumors: Adam Schefter reveals package the Las Vegas Raiders would “consider.”

After he reportedly requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, the asking price for it was set Davante Adams was reportedly revealed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Raiders would “consider” such a move for a package centered around a second-round pick and other compensation.

On Tuesday afternoon, NFL Network reported that Adams informed the Raiders that he “preferred” are traded. The news comes as his future in Las Vegas has been called into question, particularly after the head coach Antonio Piercefallen“an Instagram post about the star receiver potentially playing his final snap with the Raiders.

Adams is in his third season with the Raiders after joining via trade from the Green Bay Packers in 2022. He signed a five-year, $140 million contract extension with Las Vegas and has three years remaining. He was unable to play against the Browns because he was dealing with a hamstring injury.

In three games this season, Adams has 18 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown after a tumultuous 2023 season. While the Raiders struggled, he totaled 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns, his lowest output since 2019.

The Raiders improved to 2-2 this week with a win over the Cleveland Browns at Allegiant Stadium. They are now getting ready to hit the road and take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Questions about Adams' future in Vegas only increased after Pierce apparently “liked” an Instagram post. It included a screenshot of a post by Sports Illustrated Michael Fabiano He tells fans not to be surprised if Adams plays his final snap with the Raiders.

“I haven’t heard from (Pierce). I haven’t spoken to him,” Adams said. “I don't know exactly what it was about. … It's one of those situations where I just keep my head down, do my thing and let things fall where they may. Since this happened, there has been no communication with anyone on the team. But it's a bit like the weekly “What's wrong with Tae?” thing. It's always some kind of drama. But in the end, 17 doesn't manage to do any of it.

“So people can say whatever they want, but I just relax and try to be the example of not being agitated, just going with it and doing what I have to do.”
