But with the Vikings stalling for most of the second half, Rodgers had less than three minutes on his final drive to mount a comeback of 17 or more points for the first time in over a decade.

Rodgers worked his way down the field, taking advantage of Garrett Wilson finally having a breakout game with his quarterback, as well as other targets, to find himself in Vikings territory with more than enough time to score a touchdown, with An extra point was needed for victory.

But on third-and-10 from the Minnesota 26-yard line, Rodgers attempted to throw a contested ball to Mike Williams on the right sideline. However, it was veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore who made the tough interception and secured the victory.

Nevertheless, the Vikings proved that they are real contenders because despite the deficiencies on offense, the defense made the necessary plays to come back with the victory across the pond.
