Ravens beat Commanders for fourth straight win

Ravens beat Commanders for fourth straight win

Both the Ravens and Commanders brought winning streaks into Sunday's game at M&T Bank Stadium, but only the Ravens will enter Week 7 with their winning streak intact.

Derrick Henry ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns, while Lamar Jackson threw for 323 yards and a score in a 30-23 home win. For the Ravens it is the fourth win in a row and for the Commanders their four-game winning streak came to an end.

Henry has now scored nine touchdowns in his first six weeks with the Ravens, sealing the victory with a 27-yard run just before the two-minute warning. Jackson, now 22-1 against NFC teams, threw an interception on the Ravens' first possession of the day, but the Ravens scored on six of their next seven drives.

Jackson's touchdown came from Mark Andrews, who had three catches for 66 yards on his best single day of the season. Zay Flowers added nine catches for 132 yards and Rashod Bateman also provided a balanced offensive attack for the Ravens.

Jayden Daniels set a season-high with 269 passing yards, but the Commanders were unable to get anything going as running back Brian Robinson was left out of the lineup. That cost them possession on a day when they had to keep up with what a strong Ravens offense did when they had the ball. They were also hurt defensively by two pass interference penalties against cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, who struggled to stay in front of Ravens receivers all day.

The Ravens will look to make it a No. 5 seed in a row next weekend in Tampa, while the Commanders will look to start another winning streak at home against the Panthers.
