A windy cold front will bring temperatures closer to normal on Tuesday

The forecast for tonight:
Tonight will be mostly clear with just a few clouds, temperatures will be about 5-10 degrees above average tonight. However, on Tuesday morning the wind will shift from the northeast, ushering in a cold front.

Colorado Springs Forecast: Low: 46; High: 71;
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with some high clouds and breezy with ENE winds at 8-12 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. The maximum temperature will be just over 5 degrees above average.

Pueblo Forecast: Low: 45; High: 73;
Partly cloudy Tuesday with ENE winds 8-12 mph and gusts to 25 mph. The maximum temperature will be almost 5 degrees above average.

Canon City forecast: Low: 52; High: 72;
Tuesday afternoon will be mostly sunny and slightly cooler thanks to a windy front bringing ENE winds of 5-10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Woodland Park Forecast: Low: 37; High: 66;
Partly cloudy Tuesday, with an east wind 5-10 mph and gusts to 20 mph.

Tri Lakes Forecast: Low: 43; High: 69;
Monument and the Tri-Lakes will be slightly cooler Tuesday thanks to a windy front bringing ENE winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Plains forecast: Low: 30s/40s; High: 60s/70s;
Tuesday will be windy and cooler with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and ENE winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: Low: 45/45; High: 69/71;
Partly cloudy with a NE wind 5-10 mph, gusting to 25 mph, and a bit cooler Tuesday.

Mountain Forecast: Low: 30s; High: 60s/70s;
Partly cloudy with some patchy speckles. Winds will be variable, around 5 to 15 mph, with gusts of 20 to 25 mph. In the mountain valleys, high temperatures will be in the mid 60s to low 70s.

Advanced Forecast Forecast:
The weather will generally be in the 70s, with sunshine and breezy conditions the rest of the week. A storm system will arrive late Friday and continue into the weekend, bringing cooler weather and humidity. There will be rain below 9,000 feet and snow in the mountains, between 9,000 and 11,000 feet depending on the time of day. Showers will occur at regular intervals from Friday afternoon to early Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will reach the 50s and 70s this weekend.
