New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hit a two-run dead-field home run in the seventh inning of Game 2 of the American League Championship Series, helping his team to a 6-3 victory. At that moment, second baseman Gleyber Torres moved from first base and waited to see if the ball would go out.

That was true, but Judge was asked about the tag-up several times after the game. He provided these answers.

“That was disrespectful from Gleyber, man. He saw me hit 58 of these things this year.” 😂

Judge, of course, made the comments in a cheerful tone and didn't seem particularly bothered by Torres at all. In any case, it's all smiles for the Yanks right now as the Bronx Bombers are two games to none in the best-of-seven ALCS.

As for Torres, he spoke about the merger afterward and said he was a little “embarrassed.”

Yankees first base coach Travis Chapman apparently told Torres to report, Judge noted, so it wasn't just about the second baseman. But it didn't make any difference. And if Guardians midfielder Lane Thomas had caught the ball, Torres most likely would have moved to second anyway.

But that didn't happen. The ball flew over the fence and it was a big moment for Judge, who entered Tuesday with just two hits in 15 playoff plate appearances this year. In Game 2, he was 0-for-2 with a sacrifice fly before the home run gave the Yanks a pair of crucial runs.

Now New York will look to take a 3-0 series lead on Thursday when the team takes on the Guardians in Cleveland. First pitch is set for 5:08 p.m. ET.
