Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh accidentally shot their sex scene “further” than necessary in the upcoming film We Live In Time.

Garfield explained that while filming the intimate scene, he and Pugh didn't hear the directors shout “cut” and ended up going “further” than was necessary for the film.

“We kind of went for it and we're going a little further than we intended,” Garfield told Josh Horowitz in a fan-recorded video uploaded to X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Just because we never heard 'Cut' and it felt safe,” he explained.

Garfield broke down what was going through his mind during the scene. “And we kind of say, 'Okay, let's move on to the next step, and the next one. We'll let this continue. And we'll just carry on.' At a certain point, I both felt like we were telepathically saying to each other, 'This definitely feels like a long road,'” he explained.
