Arnold Schwarzenegger is supporting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in next week's presidential election.

Schwarzenegger began by explaining that he “hates” politics and doesn't usually make the decision to support someone in elections. He noted that he doesn't really like either party right now and that while he would like to switch off, he can't at the moment.

“Because rejecting the results of an election is as un-American as it gets,” he said of Donald Trump’s refusal to admit he lost the 2020 election. “For someone like me, who talks to people all over the world and still knows that America is the shining city on a hill, calling America the trash can of the world is so unpatriotic that it makes me angry.”

He continued: “I will always be an American before I become a Republican. That's why I'm voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this week. I'm sharing this with all of you because I think many of you feel the same way as me. They don't recognize our country. And you’re right to be angry.”

The actor went on to write that there have been conversations about the national debt, immigration reform to secure the border while fixing “our broken immigration system,” and more for decades, while those in power do nothing about it.
