ATTENTION: Disney announces DATES for the 2024 candy cane distribution

The Disneyland holiday season is upon us!

One of the best times of year to visit the “Happiest Place on Earth” is the holiday season. You'll find festive decorations, ride overlays, etc delicious treats to celebrate the season. We're especially excited about Disneyland's seasonal treats, including those from the resort handmade candy canes!

Disneyland's handmade 18-inch candy canes have been around for decades and continue to grow in popularity every year. In fact, they can be downright difficult to acquire. If you want to get one this year, Disney has just released a distribution plan and information to help you in your search!

Sales begin on November 29, 2024, and will last until Christmas, December 25, 2024. The distribution plan looks like this:

The quantity is very limited. To buy a candy cane, you must do this Join a mobile waiting list or grab a wristband. Wristband information hasn't been finalized yet, but Disney has announced that “If the waitlist is activated, you can add your name and phone number at the location to receive a text message with a time to return to the location, to have the opportunity to purchase your candy cane while supplies last.”

Please note that personal purchases are required and candy canes are limited to one (1) per person per day. For more information, visit the Disneyland website.

Pricing has not been officially announced, but the candy canes have historically cost $19.99 each. We'll let you know if that changes and what to expect as the release date approaches.
