Former Missouri football standout running back Tyler Badie suffered an injury scare during the Denver Broncos' game against the New York Jets on Sunday.

Badie caught a screen pass from quarterback Bo Nix on a third-and-13. As he turned the field, New York linebacker Quincy Williams delivered a hard hit to Badie, who landed hard on the turf and fumbled the ball away. Badie was able to walk to the sideline under his own power and appeared to be uninjured.

However, as Badie stood on the sideline, he collapsed on the field and was taken out on a stabilizer and stretcher. The game was temporarily postponed while Badie received medical attention.

Badie, who led the Broncos in rushing yards by running backs through Sunday, was signed to Denver's 53-man roster earlier this week after being on the practice squad. Badie, 24, played for the Tigers from 2018 to 2021 and was selected in the sixth round by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft.
