Channing Tatum posts about Zoë Kravitz just hours before their breakup becomes public

Hours before news of his split from Zoë Kravitz became public, Channing Tatum shared a post about her upcoming appearance in the Zellner brothers' upcoming film Alpha Gang.

The post, which was still on the actor's Instagram Stories as of this writing, was a screenshot of a Deadline story about the project originally shared by Dave Bautista.

According to the outlet, the film, starring and produced by Cate Blanchett, will also star Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough, alongside Bautista, 55, Kravitz, 35, and Tatum, 44.

While Tatum didn't include any text with his post, Bautista shared the post on his main feed.

On Tuesday, PEOPLE reported, citing multiple sources, that Kravitz and Tatum had ended their three-year relationship.

The two first sparked dating rumors after Kravitz cast Tatum in her film Blink twice in early 2021. Sources confirmed their romance to PEOPLE in September. In October 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that the two were engaged.

Kravitz's father, Lenny Kravitz, responded to the news in a January conversation with Entertainment tonightby expressing, “If your family is happy, if your child is happy, then that's it – I've done well. Blessed.”

In July, Tatum spoke to PEOPLE about working with Kravitz Blink twice, She expressed that while it was “one of the hardest films I've ever worked on for many different reasons,” she made it worth it.

“When you look across the room or the set and you know that the best person is at your side trying to solve problems and you're really looking to them for answers just as you're trying to solve them yourself, then that's it “It’s unbelievable that this is the case,” he said at the time.

Kravitz expressed similar sentiments about working with Tatum in August, expressing her desire for the two to work together again.
