College football rankings: Updated NCAA top 25 polls after Week 7 wins by Oregon, LSU and more

Week 7 of the college football season did not disappoint.

For months, sports fans had Oct. 12 circled on their calendars for a college football slate of rivalry games and ranked games. Led by No. 3 Oregon's one-point victory over No. 2 Ohio State, seven ranked teams earned victories by one point each.

Elsewhere in Big Ten country, No. 4 Penn State staged a thrilling road comeback against USC in OT. In the SEC, No. 1 Texas made a resounding statement with a dominant win over Oklahoma, No. 7 Alabama narrowly escaped South Carolina, No. 8 Tennessee snuck past Florida in OT and No. 13 LSU overtook No. 9 Ole Miss in an instant OT classic.

There will certainly be movement in the polls for the second week in a row.
