Deion Sanders reacts to Travis Hunter's Heisman pose against UCF

Deion Sanders believes that Travis Hunter is one of the best players in all of college football. Based on his performance in the first five games of this season, it's hard to say otherwise.

Hunter played on both sides of the ball at cornerback and receiver for the Buffaloes this season and continued to shine in a 48-21 win over the Buffaloes UCF on Saturday. He also had a diving interception in the third quarter, whereupon he struck the Heisman pose.

After the victory, Sander commented on his star's pose and at the same time praised him for his performance.

“We're really upset because they just told me he needs 10 more yards to make it to his 100-yard dash,” the Colorado coach said. “We wanted to try and tell him, but we didn't want to be outlandish or do anything crazy to provoke ignorance. But Travis is okay with it. That's not what he plays for. He just plays for, ‘I want to be one of the best players in college football,’ and I think he is.”

Hunter finished the contest with nine catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. He also had two tackles and a pass defensed on defense.

Many believe Hunter is a Heisman Trophy candidate, and it's clear he believes his name should be up there too. Colorado is off to a 4-1 start to the season and will have a bye before the game next week Kansas State.
