Detroit Lions CB leaves game against Seahawks holding shoulder

Detroit Lions rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold left Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks at Ford Field with an apparent right shoulder injury, but returned on the next drive.

The injury occurred in the fourth quarter when Arnold left the field holding his shoulder as the Lions tried to slow down a suddenly red-hot Seahawks offense.

After making his way to the sideline, Arnold could be seen working with trainers looking at his right shoulder. A short time later, Arnold was sitting with the other defensive backs and no longer with any coaches. Arnold only missed a few games.

THE GAME: Lions vs Seahawks results updates, highlights

The Lions were already thin due to injuries. All-Pro center Frank Ragnow is out with a partially torn pectoral muscle and safety Brian Branch is out due to illness. The defense also lost Marcus Davenport, Derrick Barnes and Ifeatu Melifonwu to injured reserve last week.
