Donald Trump announces that daughter Tiffany is pregnant

Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday that his daughter Tiffany Trump is pregnant.

Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, was speaking at the Detroit Economic Club when he said his daughter “is going to have a baby.”

The former president also expressed kindness toward Tiffany's husband, 27-year-old businessman Michael Boulos.

“He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband Michael, who is a very extraordinary young man. And she is an extraordinary young woman. And she's going to have a baby. So that’s nice,” Trump said, prompting applause from the crowd.

Newsweek reached out to Steven Cheung, Donald Trump's communications director, via email Thursday afternoon for comment.

Tiffany and Boulos met at Lindsay Lohan's beach club in Mykonos, Greece in the summer of 2018 and married at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida in the fall of 2022.

Donald Trump already has 9 grandchildren. His eldest child, Donald Jr., has two daughters, Kai, 17, and Chloe, 10, and three sons, Donald III, 15, Tristan, 13, and Spencer, 12. Trump's second-born child, Eric, has a 7-year-old son Eric Jr. and a five-year-old daughter named Carolina. And his third child, Ivanka, has a daughter, Arabella, 13, and two sons, Joseph Frederick, 11, and Theodore James, 8.

All about Tiffany Trump

Tiffany is Trump's second-born daughter and fourth child. The 30-year-old is the only child of Trump and model Marla Maples before they divorced in 1999. Maples is Trump's second wife, after Ivana Trump and before his current wife, former first lady Melania Trump.

Tiffany reportedly had a relatively private childhood growing up near Maples in California People Magazine. Tiffany told People in 2016 that she would visit her father during the school holidays. There were rumors that Tiffany and her father had a strained relationship, but she told the story People in 2017: “I really have an emotional connection to (Donald Trump) and he was always just the funniest, most loving father.”

She stayed out of the spotlight for much of her father's political career since his first run for president in 2016. In the 2016 cycle, she appeared at events and gave speeches.

However, Tiffany gave a speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in 2020. She also supported her father during the 2024 RNC in July and while he was on trial for falsifying business records in May. Trump continues to maintain his innocence in the case, despite being convicted by a New York jury.
