Fantasy Football WR Rankings Week 10: Who should start, best sleepers, injuries, waiving wire picks at wide receiver

Fantasy Football WR Rankings Week 10: Who should start, best sleepers, injuries, waiving wire picks at wide receiver

It shouldn't be a surprise to hear that the wide receiver was once again hit with injury threats last week. Two alpha receivers, AJ Brown and CeeDee Lamb, both left their games somewhat broken. They now join the long list of wide receivers who have suffered injuries this season.

Zero RB drafters found themselves in shambles this season as all receivers were out and the performance of numerous running backs was consistent. If you drafted WR-heavy this season, hopefully you were able to secure a waiver wire stud like Cedric Tillman to cover up some of those injuries.

Regardless of the state of your wide receiver room, all you can do is approach each week as if it were a clean slate and with the goal of scoring as many points as possible. The best way to achieve this goal is to have a detailed set of rankings that can be used to determine Week 10 lineups.

Who are the best fantasy WRs Week 10?

Justin Jefferson is one of the best receivers in the game and the Jags have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, so he's the absolute WR1 this week. The only potential downside here is if the Vikings take a big lead and take their foot off the gas.

The Bengals defeat the Ravens in a crucial AFC North battle, and Baltimore's attack comes through the air. Look for Joe Burrow to look Ja'Marr Chase's way early and often. Even if Tee Higgins is sidelined again, Cincinnati should find ways to keep Chase open and keep him active.

Amon-Ra St. Brown had another good game in a big NFC North matchup against the Packers in Week 9, recording seven catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. Look for him to continue to be the focal point of the offense against the Texans in Week 10.

Who are the WRs on the bye in Week 10?

Cleveland Browns: Cedric Tillman continues to be one of the best waiver players of the season for fantasy managers, but he will be bye this week. The same goes for Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Mitchell. They will return in Week 11 to face a reeling Saints team.

Las Vegas Raiders: Jakobi Meyers is the only big-name wide receiver who certainly won't be in your fantasy lineups this week. The Raiders return from break to face the Dolphins in Week 11, which could be a tough matchup for Meyers.

Green Bay Packers: The Packers can be the hardest wide receiver group to predict from week to week, but that won't be the case this week. Make sure you have Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks in your lineup. They will return in Week 11 to face the Bears.

Seattle Seahawks: DK Metcalf has missed the last two weeks with a knee injury, and fantasy managers will have to keep him on the bench again in Week 10 as Seattle faces a bye. Hopefully he returns in Week 11 against the 49ers. Just make sure you also bench Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett this week.

Who are the best fantasy WR waiver pickups in Week 10?

Quentin Johnston returned to the game and made an immediate impact for the Chargers in Week 9 against the Browns. Johnston was sidelined with an ankle injury, but managed four of his five scores for 118 yards and a touchdown. Before he went down, he was a favorite target in the end zone for Justin Herbert, and with Ladd McConkey demanding more attention, there could be even more room for Johnston.

While the Browns are on a bye this week, it could mean Jerry Jeudy is overlooked on waivers again. He caught seven of his 11 targets for 73 yards and continues to be one of Jameis Winston's favorite targets. He should be able to put up good numbers in Week 11 against a struggling Saints squad.

Who are the best Week 10 fantasy WR sleepers?

Darius Slayton remained relatively quiet in the Giants' loss to the Commanders in Week 9, but this matchup against the Panthers is exciting. Wan'Dale Robinson has played a minor role in this offense in recent weeks, and it is Slayton who has emerged as a secondary target behind Malik Nabers. Daniel Jones looked a little better against Washington and the Panthers defense should provide less resistance against Big Blue.

We're going to double up with Quentin Johnston. If you want to add him via the waiver wire, you can still sign him this week as the Chargers' passing offense is looking better and better every week.

What are the biggest WR injuries in Week 10?

Amari Cooper was inactive in Week 9 due to a wrist injury on Sunday. We don't think it's too serious an injury, but we're keeping him off the rankings until we get further updates. If he has to miss more time, look for Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman to save some time.

Tee Higgins missed the second straight game with a quadriceps injury. If he continues to miss time, tight end Mike Gesicki will continue to be the biggest beneficiary. With Higgins out, defenses can also sometimes focus more attention on Ja'Marr Chase, but his usage should be able to overcome that.

Mike Evans continues to miss time with a hamstring injury. If he is unable to participate in Week 10, Jalen McMillan should be the biggest beneficiary. With Chris Godwin also lost this year, Sterlin Shepard has begun to carve out a role for herself as well.

AJ Brown went down late in the first half but came out early in the second half. However, with the Eagles still on defense, he went back to the locker room. It was later reported that he was out for the rest of the game with a knee injury. Until we get more details, Brown will be left out of the rankings. If he misses time, look for Devonta Smith to step into the WR1 role. Jahan Dotson, who made a spectacular catch in the win over the Jags, could also see expanded action.

Drake London also left Week 9 early as he was dealing with a hip injury. If he has to miss time, Darnell Mooney would be the top wide receiver target. Ray-Ray McCloud would also likely see more targets, as would tight end Kyle Pitts.

Chris Olave recently returned from a concussion but was unfortunately ruled out of Week 9 due to another brutal hit. He was carried off the field on a stretcher, but it was later reported that he had actually left the hospital and was back with his teammates. The Saints receiving corps is already a mess. So if he has to miss time, Mason Tipton and Cedric Wilson would see increased targets. Taysom Hill could also imagine an expanded role.
