When the Detroit Lions' former No. 12 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Jameson Williams, is on the field, he is as good a playmaker as anyone in the league. Unfortunately, his career was plagued by absences after he spent almost his entire rookie season recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in college and received a four-game suspension in 2023 for violating the gambling policy of the NFL served.

The former Alabama star appears to be in trouble again as he faces a two-game NFL suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances (PES). Williams has been outstanding so far this year with 17 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns, helping the Lions move to the top of the NFC leaderboard. They will be without him in the games against the Titans and Packers, but it shouldn't be a major setback for the team.

When asked about the suspension, Williams was clearly disappointed, but said: “I have no choice but to take it on the chin.” The Lions have not yet commented on the suspension and few details are known, but it Doesn't look like Williams will appeal.
