Garth Brooks is considering a move amid a sexual abuse scandal

Garth Brooks has decided to move to Ireland after sexual abuse allegations were made against him.

The country star, 62, shared that his wife Trisha Yearwood, 60, who he describes as “the queen,” is “pushing hard” to get a house on the Emerald Isle.

The latest development was revealed in a recent episode of his Facebook Live series Studio G, where he explained how his wife “fell head over heels in love with Ireland” while he was on tour there in 2022.

“We played for two weekends, so we traveled across the country and everyone was so nice to her,” the Friends In Low Places star said.

The country singer has been a household name in Ireland since the 1990s, and his concerts in 2022 added significantly to his hype.

Brooks' decision falls in line with recent allegations that he raped a makeup artist who once worked for his wife, according to a lawsuit filed in California state court in early October.

Brooks denied the claims hours later, branding it a “hush money” investigation.

“For the past two months, I have been endlessly plagued with threats, lies and tragic stories about what my future would be if I didn't write a multi-million dollar check,” the singer said Daily Mail.

“Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my eyes, that means I am admitting to behavior that I am incapable of – ugly acts that no human being should ever do to another,” he added.

The plaintiff anonymously called herself “Jane Roe” and claimed the country icon took her to a Grammy event honoring R&B singer Sam Moore in Los Angeles in May 2019.
