George and Collins led the Jazz to their first victory, 135-126 over the Bulls

CHICAGO – Keyonte George had 33 points and nine assists, John Collins added 28 points and 13 rebounds and the Utah Jazz won for the first time this season, defeating the Chicago Bulls 135-126 on Monday night.

The injury-poor Jazz (1-6) started as the NBA's worst team offensively, averaging 99.8 points on 39.1% shooting. Against Chicago, the Jazz shot 53.9% from the floor and were 16 of 35 and 45.7% from 3-point range.

Collin Sexton added 24 points for Utah and Walker Kessler had 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Chicago's Coby White came off the bench in the second half and scored 28 points, tying the score twice late in the third quarter. But the Bulls, playing without injured top scorer Zach LaVine, couldn't take the lead after falling behind by 15 points.

Ayo Dosunmu scored 25 points on 9-for-13 shooting and Nikola Vucevic had 23 points for Chicago. The Bulls have suffered two straight losses, falling to 3-4.
