Gisele Bündchen Expecting Baby With Jiu-Jitsu Instructor Joaquim Valente: Reports

Model Gisele Bündchen is expecting a baby with boyfriend Joaquim Valente and will wait for the birth to find out the child's gender, media reported on Monday.

Bündchen, who has a girl, Vivian, 11, and a boy, Benjamin, 14, with her ex-husband Tom Brady, was seen hanging out with Valente, her jiu-jitsu instructor, during her divorce from the NFL great hanging around in 2022. The romance later blossomed, a source told People.

“They started out as friends but have been dating seriously for over a year,” the source told the magazine. “She is happy about the baby and feels good. She’s been here for a few months and is planning on having a home birth.”

The two are both from Brazil and are based in the Miami area.

Bündchen, 44, broke the news to Brady, 47, and their children before she went public, sources told TMZ.

Back in March, Bündchen confirmed to The New York Times that she was dating someone, but did not mention his name. “This is the first time I'm meeting someone I was friends with first,” she said. “It's completely different. It’s very honest and very transparent.”

Shortly after reports of her pregnancy began circulating, Brady, now a football analyst for Fox, shared an Instagram story that some media outlets interpreted as a reaction to the news.

The Chicks' version of the Fleetwood Mac hit “Landslide” played with a photo of a low sun over nature on a hill.

“Oh mirror in the sky, what is love,” was the printed text of his contribution. “Can the child in my heart rise/Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean?”
