Hawaii 2024 General Election Results: Maui Now

The 2024 Hawaii general election results will be posted here as they become available, with a focus on races impacting Maui County.

At lunchtime, the lines at Maui's voting centers were long. Voters reported waiting more than two and a half hours at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku before casting their ballots Tuesday afternoon. Some residents even came from Hāna to cast their votes in person at the Wailuku facility.

The first printout is expected after confirming that all voter service centers will be closed after 7 p.m. A second print release is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. Queues at voter service centers may potentially impact the release of initial results. A final summary report will be released after all counties have reviewed the results.

All voters are reminded that voting ends at 7:00 p.m. HST on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Voters must line up at a voter service center or their cast ballots must be received by the deadline and must not be postmarked and counted. Additional voter information, including a list of voter service centers and ballot drop box locations and hours for Maui, can be found HERE.
