Heidi Klum 'scared' about 2024 Halloween costume reveal

Heidi Klum may be the undisputed queen of Halloween, but even the costume veteran is a little worried when she unveils her latest costume. Ahead of her iconic Halloween party, the supermodel admitted that she gets nervous right before her big reveal as there's “no real process” to see how it all comes together.

“I always get nervous,” said Klum People at a restaurant opening on Tuesday, October 29, in New York City. Although the experienced customer has had a number of successful transformations, she explained that the preparation process is still a bit of trial and error.

“Because there is no real process,” she continued. “For example, I can’t do a proper fitting before I sit in it. Because I still don't know if it works. And then something happens and I think, 'Oh God.'” Case in point: When she and her ex-husband Seal, to whom she was married from 2005 to 2014, decided to dress up as a snake-covered apple and Eve.

The Victoria's Secret model, who was nine months pregnant at the time, said she chose the fruit costume to protect her baby bump.

“So I was thinking about being this Big Apple, but then we forgot how do I get to the party? Doors.” Klum added that they eventually solved the problem by purchasing a convertible so she could come to the party in her oversized look.

Klum has been busy teasing her 2024 Halloween costume ahead of the reveal at her annual party on October 31. In her Instagram and TikTok posts, the former TV host hinted that she may wear prosthetics, glass eyes and metal claws a la Edward Scissorhands.

Fans will have to wait until Thursday to see if Klum tops last year's peacock disguise – and if there are any mishaps as she brings her latest look to life.
