Hello conservatives, Bashaw is fine

Hello conservatives, Bashaw is fine

Hello conservatives, Curtis Bashaw is fine.

That's the message that came Wednesday night from the Morris County chapter of Moms for Liberty.

This is significant because Bashaw says he doesn't fit into a box when it comes to conventional conservative beliefs. As he tells everyone in a TV commercial, he is pro-choice and gay.

This has caused some problems with the more conservative MAGA wing of the Republican Party.

Mike Crispi from the America First Republicans, for example, sharply criticized one of his debate appearances.

With that in mind, Kristen Cobo, president of Moms for Liberty of Morris County, said she had a virtual discussion with Bashaw.

And he apparently passed the test. She said Bashaw agreed to sign the organization's parent statement.

Here is Cobo's release:

There is a fundamental disconnect between families and “the system.” Parents often feel like they are standing in front of a machine, unheard and frustrated. We are leading the effort to close this gap and create lasting impact

change.
During this unprecedented time, mothers and fathers had to stand up and fight for the basic right to decide how to raise their children. A right that should be inherent in this beautiful and free nation
We are blessed to live. As parents on the front lines of the fight against government overreach, we must engage and hold elected officials accountable to implement policies that further our mission: strengthen parental participation and decision-making, increase transparency, to defend ourselves against government overreach and protect parental rights at all levels of government.
Today (Wednesday) I was pleased to meet virtually with New Jersey U.S. Senate candidate Curtis Bashaw. I pressed Mr. Bashaw on my concerns about dangerous Department of Education policies and the passage of laws that not only threaten the rights of parents and harm our most vulnerable, but also destroy the most sacred system, that of the family.
While I understand that some conservatives have questioned Mr. Bashaw's stance on certain issues, today I focused on hearing his stance on the teaching of gender ideology in schools and the inclusion of sexual relationships
explicit material in school, allowing biological men in our girls' bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports – as these issues directly impact our ability to provide a safe and prosperous environment for our children.
Not only did Mr. Bashaw enthusiastically express his support for the parental rights movement, he also agreed on all of the above issues and signed our Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge. We look forward to continuing this
important conversations and working together to restore parental rights for the safety of our children.”

Polls give Democrat Andy Kim a clear lead in the race for US Senate. That's why it's essential for Bashaw to have all Republicans on his side if he has any chance of pulling off an upset.

This type of support can help.
