Here's how to watch Longhorns in Week 9 today

Texas football suffered its first loss of the season last Saturday, 30-15, as Georgia ran amok at Darrell K Royal Memorial Stadium.

The new College Football Playoff format is far from over for Texas, which is ranked No. 6 in the U.S. LBM Coaches Poll. However, their margin for error has narrowed and things could get tricky when they visit upset Vanderbilt.

The Commodores picked up the season win in Week 6 by defeating the Crimson Tide 40-35, after which their fans took the goal post on a trip to the river. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia looks to be one of the best transfers of the offseason and currently has 1,391 yards, 11 touchdowns and one interception.

Texas' offense was a mess last Saturday and will have a chance to redeem itself in Nashville. The Longhorns' quarterback situation is solid, according to coach Steve Sarkisian, despite benching Quinn Ewers against the Bulldogs. The team reiterated its belief in Ewers as a starter despite Arch Manning's brief appearance.

Running back Jaydon Blue has settled into a backup role behind Quintrevion Wisner but expects to get some carries this Saturday.
