Kaytranada announces 2025 Australian tour

Kaytranada has announced his first headlining tour of Australia since 2016, scheduled to take place across four shows in January 2025. The tour is part of an Oceanic expansion of his world tour in support of his recently released third solo album Timeless. As main support, Channel Tres will join the acclaimed Juno Award-winning producer and DJ on the Australian leg of the timeless tour. Fresh from the release of his debut solo album Head rush The Compton hip-house artist appeared on two tracks earlier this year Timeless: “Drip Sweat” and “Stuntin.” He last appeared in Australia in the 2023/24 New Year period – where he played on both Beyond The Valley and Lost Paradise.

Also join Timeless On tour on all dates except Melbourne are Kaytranada's brother Lou Phelps – himself a rapper – and Brooklyn-based DJ Kitty Ca$h. It is the first time that both supporting bands have toured Australia.

Kaytranada first toured Australia in August 2013 after his remix of Janet Jackson's “If” achieved unexpected viral success. He returned less than a year later to perform at the 2014 Future Music Festival and again in the 2014/2015 New Year period to perform at Beyond The Valley, Origin NYE and Field Day. His first (and so far only) headlining tour took place in October 2016 following the release of his debut album 99.9%. Just over a year later, he was back for another series of New Year's Eve festivals, including a return to Origin NYE and an appearance at FOMO 2018 – to which he would return again in 2020 – this time in 2022 and 2023, where he debuted at Wildlands and returned to Beyond The Valley and Field Day.

Pre-sales for the tour begin on Wednesday, November 6th at 1pm AEDT and can be registered here. The tour goes on general sale on Thursday November 7th – again at 1pm AEDT – via the tour's official promoter, Untitled Group, on their website.
