Kevin Durant made NBA history in the Lakers-Suns game

The Phoenix Suns hosted the Los Angeles Lakers in Arizona on Monday evening.

The game was close, but the Suns were able to win by a score of 109-105 and improve to 3-1 in their first four games.

Kevin Durant continued his hot start to the season with 30 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks while shooting 11/20 from the field and 2/6 from three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.

The Suns superstar also made NBA history.

At 36 years old, Durant is still one of the ten best players in the league.

He is in the first four games averaging 29.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 53.3% from the field and 45.5% from three-point range.

In addition to Durant's outstanding night, the Suns' entire team contributed to their victory over the Lakers.
