The initial reports indicate that Parsons has a high ankle sprain, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday morning, with the caveat that the linebacker still needs to undergo an MRI to determine the injury.

With less than four minutes to play, Parsons was blocked on a crucial third down by Giants center John Michael Schmitz against right guard Greg Van Roten, who fell to the ground on top of Parsons.
