Minutes before Lauren Boebert took the stage at her election watch party at her new home in Windsor, Colo., on Tuesday night to celebrate her also new congressional seat in Colorado, a blonde child in a T-shirt that read, “God, guns and Trump.” He took off his red “Make America Great Again” hat and urged those gathered to do the same as he led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Boebert, 37, then addressed the crowd of MAGA- and cowboy-hat-clad supporters at the same grain bin-themed venue on old Colorado farmland where she celebrated her victory over her fellow Republicans in the CD4 primary in June . The incumbent CD3 congresswoman announced plans late last year to abandon her re-election bid in this district – where she had lived since she was a teenager, married and raised her four sons – and move across the state to the more red CD4.

The decision followed her near-defeat two years earlier in CD3 against Democrat Adam Frisch, an Aspen businessman and former independent who seemed poised to give her renewed competition, literally, as his fundraising and campaign for a Second leg in 2024 continues to make strong progress.

Despite facing local rivals gleefully touting her approach and a growing list of personal dramas and unfavorable headlines, Boebert won the Republican nomination in June. She was the slight favorite in the agricultural and conservative district in eastern Colorado, which hasn't elected a Democrat since 2008.

Boebert drew on those values Tuesday as she spoke to gathered supporters at the Grainhouse Windsor, where previous crowd favorites included a man dressed as Uncle Sam and a woman who paraded proudly in a dress made of black trash bags — presumably a nod to recent times Headlines about Biden comments.

“There are some amazing, God-fearing patriots here who care about our country,” said Boebert, wearing a red MAGA hat, blue pantsuit and sparkling cream stilettos. “Thanks to you and your lives, our children have a chance to live in this great experiment called America… Your ballot that you returned was not just a piece of paper, it was a prize for American values.

She continued, “God said he wanted us to move forward, and that's exactly what we did together: we joined together and went forward into battle and took on every enemy that was against all that was.” we love.”

Supporters, some seated at reserved tables with centerpieces depicting Colorado and American flags and elephants representing the Republican Party, dined on a buffet of nachos and chicken. Avid fans could purchase Boebert's “Standing for Freedom” hats, T-shirts and stickers, and Trump/Vance swag was also on sale.

A woman in the restroom pointed out the careful selection of toilet paper rolls called “Right Choice.”

Boebert railed against “four years of shitty politics” and drew attention to her favorite issues, reminding voters of “the 13 military members who died on (Biden's) watch” – for which she harassed him during the 2022 State of the Union – and venting about it pleased with how she “took on Nancy Pelosi.”

Boebert, a staunch, long-time and vocal Trump supporter, told the crowd: “President Trump has been saying for years that they are after him. They're after you, and with a bullet to the head he proves he's just in the way – and so tonight is the night we show him we're with him in the fight.”

After Boebert left the stage, the crowd continued to watch the Fox News presidential election results on a giant screen behind the bar — an unusual hipster setup made from an old piece of farm equipment — cheering wildly each time State was called for Trump.

Shortly after 8 p.m., with Trump winning 205 electoral votes to Harris' 117, the rally began chanting “USA.”
