Live Missouri 2024 Election Results: Trump Projected to Win

ABC News predicts Donald Trump will win Missouri's 10 electoral votes.

Voters in Missouri went to the polls on Election Day to cast their ballots for the presidential election as well as multiple rounds of votes for the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

Missouri voters will also be able to decide whether to enshrine abortion rights in their state's constitution.

Polling stations closed at 7 p.m. local time.

State significance

Missouri was a reliably red state in recent presidential elections. Former President Donald Trump won the state in 2016 and 2020 and defeated President Joe Biden by 16 percentage points in the last presidential election.

Republican Senator Josh Hawley is seeking a second term in the US Senate. He faces Democratic candidate Lucas Kunce.

On the House side, voters determine who represents the state's eight congressional districts.

Voters will also have a ballot initiative on abortion access. Amendment 3 would enshrine the right to abortion until fetal viability in the state constitution and allow abortions after fetal viability if a doctor deems it necessary to protect the mother's health. Abortion is currently banned in Missouri with a few exceptions.

Counties are colored red or blue when the percentage of expected votes reaches a set threshold. This threshold varies by state and is based on past voting reporting patterns and expectations about how voting will occur this year.
