Kiké Hernandez and the Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2020 World Series, but the parade celebrating that achievement never took place due to COVID-19.

“I won a World Series (in 2020) and didn’t have a save,” Hernandez said during a postgame interview in the National League Championship Series. “A parade is all I want.”

Los Angeles has officially scheduled a parade after the Dodgers won the 2024 World Series with a 7-6 Game 5 victory over the New York Yankees on Wednesday.

When is the Dodgers championship parade?

The Dodgers and their fans will celebrate the 2024 World Series title on Friday, November 1st. The same day as Fernando Valenzuela's birthday, who died of an unknown illness on October 22nd.

The parade begins at 2:00 p.m. ET (11:00 a.m. local time) at Gloria Molina Grand Park on Spring Street in front of Los Angeles City Hall.

The Dodgers will travel in double-decker buses on a 45-minute parade route from 1st Street to Grand Avenue to 5th Street, culminating at the intersection of 5th and Flower Streets.

Television coverage of the parade begins at 12:30 p.m. ET (9:30 a.m. local time) and can be found on SportsNet LA among several Los Angeles area stations, including CBS 2, NBC 4, KTLA 5, ABC 7, KCAL 9 and Fox 11. Radio coverage also airs on AM 570.

Dodgers celebrate at Dodger Stadium

Following the parade, a special ticketed event will take place at Dodger Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:15 p.m. local time). Fans will have the opportunity to purchase merchandise and food during the event. There will be entertainment in the stadium and fans will have the opportunity to watch coverage of the parade on the scoreboards.

Parking gates will open at 8:30 a.m. PT and stadium gates will open at 9:00 a.m. PT.

No immediate information on how to purchase tickets for the event was available as of Wednesday evening.
