Magical, modest favorite in home showdown with the Indiana Pacers

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic are two of the most interesting teams in the NBA. The Pacers made a surprising run to the Eastern Conference Finals last year, and it's the Magic who want something similar this season.

The two teams meet on Monday evening at the Kia Center. The game starts at 7 p.m. ET. Here's all the information on how to watch the game, with a good breakdown of both teams. CLICK HERE

According to the Magic, they are 5.5-point favorites FanDuel.com Gambling website. The over under is 224.5.

This is the first of four meetings between the two teams this season and they will see a lot of each other early on. They meet again next week on November 6th in Indianapolis and then play in Orlando on November 13th. The final meeting will be April 11 in Indianapolis, the final road trip of the regular season.

Last year they played three times and the away team won all three games. That's how the series went

Here's what Orlando did this season, straight up and against the spread:

The Pacers are 1-2 so far this season, beating Detroit but losing to the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers. They are 1-2 against the spread.

Betting angle: The Magic have gone over the total in every game this season and the Pacers don't play much defense. I'm surprised this amount isn't higher.

Paolo Banchero had a lot of big games against the Pacers. They don't double often, so I can see him going over the total score of 24.5. Another advantage is that striker Franz Wagner is not doing well. He plays, but it was a game-time decision. Protocols will certainly be an issue.

The Pacers haven't looked great so far, but Monday could be different.
