As we have done throughout the season, we will begin board formation by examining 15 players who have already been the focus of trade discussions or who would be realistic trade candidates based on their contract status, roster situation and/or team record.

The Los Angeles Rams' win in Week 8, for example, put LA back in contention and will likely push fullback Cooper Kupp off the trade market.

“The Rams are just a road game in the NFC West,” said ESPN insider Adam Schefter The Pat McAfee Show (h/t Jarrett Bailey of The Sporting News). “And I don’t expect them to move Cooper Kupp.”

Kupp is off our list, along with Johnson, Uche, Jaguars offensive tackle Walker Little and Cleveland Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II. With cornerback Denzel Ward suffering a concussion on Sunday – his second of the year and the sixth documented of his career – the Browns may be inclined to stick with Newsome for the foreseeable future.

Little, who started in place of Robinson in Week 8, should now remain in Jacksonville's starting lineup.

The list includes Patriots wide receiver KJ Osborn, New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore, Rams cornerback Tre'Davious White, New York Giants offensive lineman Evan Neal and Panthers running back Miles Sanders. Osborn is on a one-year deal, while Sanders could be expandable after Carolina opened the 21-day return window for rookie Jonathon Brooks.

Trading Lattimore could give the Saints some much-needed cap relief for 2025. The Rams have given White, who has been completely inactive the past three games, permission to pursue a trade.

Neal, a 2022 first-round pick, has played just one offensive snap for the Giants this season.

Players were then ranked based on talent, positional value and likely availability to make our top 10. Our Week 9 honorable mentions, in no particular order, are:

  • Miles Sanders, RB, Carolina Panthers
  • Zach Wilson, QB, Denver Broncos
  • Evan Neal, OT, New York Giants
  • Daniel Brunskill, OL, Tennessee Titans
  • Jack Conklin, OT, Cleveland Browns
