After growing closer amid the coronavirus pandemic, a second source revealed that Dobrev and White are in it for the long haul.

“Nina has had a lot of relationships in the past that didn't work out, but since meeting Shaun, you can tell she's really excited about how far this relationship has come,” the insider shared in April 2021. “They are gradually developing steps to start the future together.”

The professional athlete later explained that the secret of a long-distance relationship lies above all in commitment.
