No. 2 North Dakota State won the 2024 Dakota Marker, defeating No. 1 South Dakota State 13-9. With the win, the Bison end a five-game losing streak against the Jackrabbits.

North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller showed off his grip gene on the final drive of the game, going 7-for-7 passing for 76 yards and rushing for six yards on the drive. All but one play on NDSU's game-winning drive came from Miller, including his touchdown pass to RaJa Bell.

Defensively, the Bison limited reigning Walter Payton Award winner Mark Gronowski to fewer than 100 yards passing or rushing and no touchdowns.

South Dakota State quarterback Mark Gronowski threw his first interception in a Dakota marker game when North Dakota State linebacker Logan Kopp intercepted a pass intended for wide receiver Griffin Wilde.
