Odell Beckham Jr. reacts to Giants WR Malik Nabers' NFL primetime debut

Just like the rest of us, Odell Beckham Jr. watches Thursday Night Football. There is a special connection for the wide receiver as he watches his old team, the New York Giants, take on their NFC East rival, the Dallas Cowboys. In three quarters, one player stood out over Beckham.

Malik Nabers shined early in his NFL career and Beckham had to give the rookie his flowers. He took to social media to speak out, saying this was something most people already knew.

Even though Beckham used a vomit emoji, that's a good thing. High praise from a longtime veteran of the game watching Nabers go to work against the Cowboys defense.

At the time of Beckham's tweet, Nabers already had seven balls for 79 yards. While the rookie hasn't found the end zone yet, there's a chance to get there in the fourth quarter. Maybe we'll even give the Giants the lead as they try to get a rare win against the Cowboys.

Of course, there is another connection between the two than just playing for the Giants. Beckham and Nabers are both proud former players of the LSU Tigerswho were having fun in Baton Rouge during their college years.

Malik Nabers leaves the game with an apparent concussion

Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers has impressed early in his rookie season with the franchise. He was the dominant player they believed he could be. Unfortunately for New York, he went to the locker room late in the fourth quarter after falling out of bounds and landing helmet face first.

Nabers was slow to recover after the game. Spent some time in the medical tent and was examined by trainers and medical staff before finally heading to the locker room. Shortly afterward, the Amazon Prime broadcast updated his status, with Al Michaels saying Nabers had a concussion.
