Official: Barcelona starting line-up against Getafe | La Liga GW7

Barcelona will be aiming for their seventh La Liga win of the 2024/25 season when they face Getafe at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in an hour.

Having won six of their six league matches so far, the Catalans will be looking to extend their 100 percent win rate and restore their four-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of the table.

Before the match, coach Hansi Flick announced Barcelona’s starting lineup for the match against Getafe in Montjuic.

With Marc-André ter Stegen out through injury, Inaki Pena will be between the posts for the first time this season, while the club is simultaneously working on signing Wojciech Szczesny.

With Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo and Frenkie de Jong missing, Raphinha will captain Barcelona tonight and start in attack on the left flank, partnering Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski in the front line.

In an important decision, Flick has decided to give midfield maestro Pedri a break tonight. Marc Casado will bring him into the team. The 21-year-old La Masia Ace is paired with Eric Garcia in the double pivot, with Pablo Torre taking the 10th spot.

There are also some changes in defence: Pau Cubarsi and Alejandro Balde return to the team at the expense of Sergi Dominguez and Gerard Martin respectively. Inigo Martinez and Jules Kounde keep their places.
