Our favorite photos from the Detroit Tigers' first home playoff win in over a decade

DETROIT – The Tigers are hot and for the first time in more than a decade, they showed a record amount of Detroiters what playoff baseball can be.

The Tigers filled Comerica Park with 44,885 fans, the largest postseason crowd in Comerica Park history, and delivered a thrilling 3-0 win over the Cleveland Guardians in Game 3 of the American League Division Series. It was their first postseason home win since 2013.

Detroit prevailed against Cleveland and extended the lead in the best-of-five series to 2-1. The teams will face off Thursday with even higher stakes – a win for Detroit would send the Tigers to the American League Championship Series for the first time since 2013. First pitch is scheduled for 6:08 p.m
