Penn State police are investigating the incident between Jason Kelce and a football fan

Penn State University Police are investigating an incident Jason Kelce and an unknown college football fan at school, Us weekly can confirm that.

A police spokesman said this Us On Monday, Nov. 4, the department is investigating after Kelce, 46, was seen slamming a heckler's phone on the ground outside Beaver Stadium.

“The University and Public Safety Police are the investigating agency for this incident and the process is ongoing,” PSU police said Us in a statement.

According to Penn State University's hometown newspaper, the department's criminal history list listed criminal mischief and disorderly conduct as potential violations Center Daily Times reported. It was not immediately clear whether the fan reported the incident to police.

Us weekly reached out to Kelce's rep for comment and did not receive a response. While participating as an analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Football coverage, the former Philadelphia Eagles player addressed the controversy.

“I’m not happy with anything that happened,” Kelce said Monday night. “I'm not proud of it. In a heated moment, I decided to meet hate with hate, and I just don't think that's a productive thing to do. I really don't. I don't think it creates a discourse and that it is the right way to do things. In that moment, I fell to a level I shouldn’t have.”

After his appearance on ESPN's College GameDay On Saturday, November 2, Kelce was seen grabbing a heckler's phone and throwing it to the ground after hearing an offensive homophobic slur about his brother. Travis Kelce.

The incident occurred before the football showdown between Penn State and Ohio State.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Jason can be seen and heard using the same homophobic slur and asking, “Who is the devil now?” Who is the devil now?
