Person killed along Baptist Road, Monument police investigating hit-and-run

MONUMENT — One person was killed in a hit-and-run Monday morning, according to Monument police.

Police said they were called to a hit-and-run accident on Baptist Road around 11:45 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, they found a dead person at the scene. Monument police continue to investigate the incident but have not released any information about a suspect vehicle or how the accident occurred.
