The Netflix series makes its highly anticipated return on December 26th

Netflix shared a Halloween treat on Thursday as the streaming service unveiled the latest teaser for the highly anticipated second season of Squid game.

In the new preview, player 456 (Lee Jung-jae) returns to the Squid Game after winning (and more importantly, surviving) the first season. This time, instead of making money, 456 is more interested in defeating the game's overlords, including the mysterious frontman (played by Lee Byung-hun).

Elsewhere in the trailer, player 456 has to admit to his fellow competitors that he has participated in the Squid Game before.

“Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 has given up on going to the States and is coming back with a new resolution,” Netflix said in a synopsis. “Gi-hun once again delves into the mysterious survival game and launches another game of life and death, bringing together new participants to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.”
