Rams-Packers second half game thread

Rams-Packers second half game thread

The Los Angeles Rams lead the Green Bay Packers 13-10 after the first half of the game. Green Bay took a 7-0 lead after the first quarter, but LA responded by scoring 13 points of their own in the second quarter and held the lead for 30 minutes.

The Rams once again had some trouble scoring in the red zone, failing to even manage a fourth-and-goal early in the contest. Had Sean McVay's team converted, he would have looked like a genius, but that wasn't the case, and so observers might question the decision to go for it instead of making the easy field goal.

The Packers were able to score first relatively quickly after a good finish to Jaylen Reed, but otherwise the LA defense kept Green Bay in check for much of the first half. We give credit to LA's offense for extending drives and taking the time to keep Jordan Love off the field.

With about two minutes left in the half, Love hit a pick six and LA took the lead, but then missed the extra point. The score was 13-7, with the Packers having just over two minutes to score some points before the first half ended.

The Packers added a field goal late in the second quarter to make the score 13-10 as they still trailed the Rams.
