Republicans respond to Biden's “garbage” comments as the 2024 Trump-Harris election approaches

President Joe Biden threw what appeared to be a final shot across the Trump campaign's bow just a week before the election, calling Trump voters “trash.”

It's similar to just before the 2016 election, when Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters “deplorables.”

Just like eight years ago, Republicans have once again made the rounds, using “garbage” language to compensate for Vice President Kamala Harris' bid to become president.

“The only trash I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said of Trump on Tuesday. “(Trump’s) demonization of Latinos is irresponsible and un-American.”

Republicans protested in droves against the president's comments.

Trump is urging his supporters to “forgive” Biden as a show of unity after the president called supporters “trash.”

“As a Republican member of Congress, I have met with many of my constituents who are Democrats, Libertarians, NPA and Independents. I would NEVER call them trash. What are you doing @POTUS?” Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna tweeted.

“Holy shit. The media cried all week over a comedian's joke. Meanwhile, Tim Walz called Trump supporters Nazis. Kamala Harris refused to condemn it. And now Kamala's biggest Democratic ally, Joe Biden, is calling all Trump supporters “trash.” “Absolutely disgusting!!!” Donald Trump Jr. wrote.

“Tonight, the sitting Democratic President of the United States simply called Trump supporters “trash.” After two failed assassination attempts against Trump, the DNC's state-run media lectured Republicans to “tone down the rhetoric,” said Texas Rep. Wesley Hunt.

Kamala Harris and Joe Biden should be.” “I’m ashamed of myself,” wrote vice presidential candidate JD Vance.
