* It's no surprise that Jordan Turner had by far the best grade among Michigan State's defensive players. The linebacker had eight tackles, five of which were stops. He allowed three catches in the passing game, but only for 11 yards, and had one interception. His grade was the best of his career at Michigan State.

* Although Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams only had 35 rushing yards, he was the Spartans' top-ranked offensive player. He was credited with four missed tackles and 23 yards after contact.

* As a team, Michigan State received the worst grade for its pass blocking. Playing with several new offensive linemen due to injuries, the team allowed 12 pressures, six hurries, four hits and two sacks.

* Defensively, the Spartans' worst marks came in the tackling department: MSU was credited with 15 missed tackles, more than half of which went to the team's starting defenders.

* While Michigan State's team grade of 59.8 was its lowest of the season, that mark was also the Spartans' highest as a team against the Buckeyes since 2018.
